Generating an Overprint File

The Overprint file refers to the data that will be used to generate the scannable document that ASISTS will generate.  ASISTS allows you to download a text file based on classes selected for attendance scanning.  Once you have downloaded and saved this file, you can use the Scantron utility to generate the scannable attendance form.

The instructions for generating the file are below.  Please give us your feedback on the process for selecting the classes, downloading the overprint file and generating the scannable attendance document.  The instructions are below.

We are not able to see the option to include classes in the scanning - only the Brooklyn pilot box is visible - therefore we are still not able to begin the scanning pilot.

Also as a note, the beta website will not come up unless you change it to https at which point you get a msg that there is a problem with the website security certificate.

Some of you have been having difficulties setting up the classes for the scanning download. We may have identified the problem. You should use the address:

beta.asists.com

You can use your log in and then those among you authorized to do so will see the check box for selecting classes for scanning.

Today, I successfully generated an overprint file, printed the bubble sheets and bubbled in hours on them.
